one|february

It’s time for the second installment of a blog circle with a special group of very talented friends, “One”.  For this project, we simply pick one favorite image from the month to post, and link to eachother to form a circle.  It might be an image we initially overlooked, it might be one that isn’t technically perfect, or one that isn’t our usual style.  We are always our own worst critics (well at least I am!) and sometimes images get left behind on a technicality.  I cannot tell you how many images I have almost trashed for one reason or another, and then been so glad later that I didn’t.  The imperfect ones are often the ones that shine the brightest.

February was a really fun month for me…one weekend I was in Boca Raton, Florida in 80 degree weather visiting my dear friend Andrea, her oldest daughter (my Goddaughter), and their new baby girl.  The following weekend, I was in Michigan in a snowstorm and 8 inches of snow, sledding with my boys.  A little bit of everything, and as such, my images from last month are all over the place.

Here is my “One” from February, my Goddaughter Olivia, in her impossibly girly room which I absolutely adored.  Next up, click here to follow me to Colorado, where my friend Sarah lives and shoots gorgeous images of her surroundings, always capturing the details and beauty of everything around her.
