big day

Today was the day – my oldest baby heading off to kindergarten. I was so nervous that he would be scared about riding the bus. Evidently, I completely underestimated him (thankfully!) and he couldn’t wait to get on that bus. Even though he’s been in preschool of one form or another since he was about 4 months old, this was so different, much more official and real somehow. A big milestone. He was very excited, also a bit nervous, and I was trying to hold it together the entire time we headed off to the bus…because this is what my camera saw: school-1school-1-3school-1-6school-1-5school-1-7school-1-8school-15 But this is what I see:school-1-10school-1-11 C – I’m so proud of you buddy! You’re going to be awesome and you were so ready for this, even if your mama was not! school2-1

  • MamaZ - Congratulations Charlie!!! I’m so with you Jess. I cried on K’s first day…21 years ago. I tossed J out the door 2 years later, without a single tear. 🙂ReplyCancel
