Growing up, I must have watched my grandfather set up his tripod a hundred times over to catch this same exact sunset in this same exact place. Memorial Day 2012, at the lake. This one is for you Papa.
More little girls from last weekend! The Anetsbergers also have two adorable girls (3.5 and 5 year old) and a girl dog 🙂 I had a blast following these two around – and because I have know their mom and aunt for so many years, it was especially fun. I almost felt like I got to go back in time to get to know my dear old friends as kids. More later!
My life as a mom of two toddler boys (and a boy dog) consists of a lot of mud, tractors, trains, and perpetual motion. I decided it was time to chase some little girls around for a change so I went over to photograph some dear friends – the Wols family – twin two-year-old girls and a girl dog! Love ’em – no chasing involved! The girls did not dissapoint with their daintiness and they actually stayed in one spot for more than 0.03 seconds – amazing! Here are just a few, more to come later!

Up! The sun finally came out after many days of rain and cold so we went to the swings at the park, well, one of the many parks around here. We switched it up and went to one we haven’t been to in a while and had it all to ourselves. I wound up with a few wood chips in my hair but it’s all good.
Hard to believe that my oldest will be three years old in a few weeks because it seems like just yesterday that a “little” 9 lb. 9 oz. guy came into our world:
And 15 months later, the little brother came on to the scene , I love how the nurses swaddle them like little burritos:
At the time Charlie was more interested in his brother’s little container at the hospital (he was not so sure about Mr. Nate):
And here they are now. Well, I took these back at the end of January when I first got a remote for my camera, but I think they are worth revisiting here. We can’t imagine life without eachother now! Happy Mother’s Day!
