Old Blue Eyes

I don’t think I will ever figure out the genetics here…how did I have a blue-eyed redhead?  I don’t know, but I love it.

Night night

The other day I ran out into the middle of the street like a crazy woman with my tripod to practice getting a night shot.  Luckily my street isn’t too busy, so I was able to pull off a longer exposure and get a starburst off of the streetlamp 🙂  Sweet dreams everyone!

  • valerie marie - what a perfect starburst!! so cool how you got that little bit of purple and blue from the sky. haha, when ever i take sunset shots i fear that the neighbors think i’m some kind of voyeur!!! haha… like, “what is she going to do with a picture of my house!??” when really, it’s all silhouetted and you can’t see a thing.ReplyCancel

The way I view {sweetness + love}

This month’s theme was an easy one.  It’s February, love is in the air.  This is going to be a little bit of a long post…so go grab a cup of coffee and come back and sit down 🙂  I just so happened to take a lot of pictures this month that fit this theme perfectly.

{brotherly love}  Sweetness and love to me is my two little boys.  They are only 15 months apart and now that Nate is getting a little older and they interact more, it’s really fun to watch them together.  I’m not sure what got into Charlie recently, but he actually decided he “was going to be nice to Nate” and told me “Mama, you’d better get your candra”.  The look on Nate’s face tells you how often this kind of thing happens!

{baby love}  Next, we have a picture of my nephews!  Well, future nephews!  Aren’t they cute?  Ha.  My sister in law Kristin is pregnant with twin boys, and we all got together for her baby shower right after Valentine’s day.  She is doing so great and has that glow 🙂

{sweetest thing}  Finally, at the beginning of the month, I photographed this sweet little thing, my friend Denise’s little doll of a girl Sloane.  I posted a sneak peek of these photos earlier this month.  She is wearing pink, she is so sweet and happy, and she is such a love!  She fits perfectly with this month’s theme.  It was hard to choose some to show there are so many I love from that day, but here are some of my favorites:
