Jumping bean

Charlie is just so 2 1/2.  Happy go lucky one second, and having a tantrum the next second trying to claim his independence.  But he’s definitely 100% toddler boy!

  • Jenn Frost - Cute boy Jessica. Love the first shot – what a cheeky smile. The second one with him up in the air is a great capture too. It’s amazing how much joy they can get from something as simple as jumping on the bed. My son is the same age and loves to do this too.ReplyCancel

  • julia - I actually think these might be my favorite so far! That first one- even though it’s so simple- is fantastic! Great color and clarity! And of course, the mid-air shot is a great capture too! So sharp! 🙂ReplyCancel

  • Jackee - I always get a little misty when I see photos of a rambunctious little boy – its been many years since my boy was that little. You caught Charlie pretty good, I think.

    I love this layout – I’ve looked at at similar ones a couple of times, but they’re kinda intimidating to me. You did a great job!

    BTW,got hwere from CM 😉ReplyCancel

Magic light.  I caught this ray of sunflare right in the spot Charlie was handing Nate his toy, I love it because it looks like he’s handing him some kind of magic glowing treasure.  It’s magic to begin with that Charlie is sharing anything with Nate!  Look how excited Nate was to get something from his big brother, and it’s only a little Matchbox car from a Happy Meal 🙂

This is new…Charlie has been on a hug Nate kick all week.  Judging by the look on his face, Nate might be the most shocked out of all of us on this one.  Right before I snapped this one, Charlie announced “Mama, I’m gonna be nice to Nate, go get your candra!”  Normally, my “candra” is something that Charlie runs in the other direction from, and yells for me to put it down, or leave it at home.  Luckily I usually have my candra close to me, in case something unusual happens that I need to document (like this).  Maybe he’s decided he wants to go into modeling, or maybe he just wants some ice cream later.

  • julia - PS- your time stamp is off… it’s 1:24am, not 7:24am, in case you care. (And yes I’ve already sent you a raging email about why I hate technology and am still up at this hour.) 😉ReplyCancel

    • jessicaremus - I know the weird thing is that I published this last night around 8 pm, so it’s totally off. Oh well it doesn’t matter 🙂ReplyCancel

Hey ladies!

Charlie would like you to know he’s driving now.  He’s cruising the neighborhood in a 2011 plastic Lightning McQueen.

Makes me {smile}

This week got off to a rocky start…on Monday I had to take Nate to the ER because he was having trouble breathing.  Because he wasn’t feeling well I’ve been home on and off with him.  Tim had to work all night on Valentine’s Day.  Just kind of sucky.  But I came home to this sweet treat from my boys:

Tulips are my favorite flower (with hydrangeas coming in at a close second), and I still get a kick out of getting cards from my little ones.  It’s one of the fun things about being a mom that I just love.
