Happy New Year! 5:45 a.m. Shadows and light. Here is the first image for my Project 52, Nate goofing around in my bedroom hallway just like he does every morning. He still just looooves to get up early.
In addition to my Project 52, I am going to do a 12-month photography challenge with 11 other amazing photographers. Every month, we will be given a theme to work on, taking pictures the way we interpret that theme. I’m looking forward to this challenge, I am definitely the least experienced in this group and I hope to learn a lot! The images will be posted on the 2nd of each month. The theme for January is “The way I view…beginnings”. Back with more on that on Feb. 2.

Jess,
This is so much fun! Looking forward to seeing your photographs! -
Seeing these pics makes me really miss you guys and makes me want to take a photography class too!!
Of course I think it is but I am obviously biased 🙂 A recent picture of Charlie on the front porch taken with my new camera, I am loving this camera already. This is one of my favorites from 2011, especially because it’s straight out of the camera with no editing done to change it. It’s hard to get his dark brown eyes to look this clear. So, I am entering this photo in the I Heart Faces “Best Face Photo from 2011” challenge. You can see more entries at I Heart Faces.
